Twelve Worlds: The Other Side of the Mirror

We were on the lawn of the backyard, I screamed and begged for her not to destroy it, I knew that was the only way to return to my true home, in which it had only been a few days, but where I felt alive. She held the hammer dangerously close to the delicate crystal glass and cried too! It was the first time I had seen her so nervous.

Then its surface became liquid again and from there the shadows came and dragged us back into the mirror. I saw myself falling into that dark pitch again, but this time someone was falling with me, I couldn’t see her face, but I knew it must be engraved with a look of terror. I had no clue that she was once on the other side too...
